What a week it has been! Recently, our team at Hope of Family participated in a two-day in-depth workshop focused on applying the Institutional Development Framework (IDF) within our organization. This comprehensive tool was used to assess our activities and identify areas for improvement, with a particular focus on leadership, strategic planning, staff skills and knowledge, resource management, and other critical components essential for our success.
The IDF is designed to conduct thorough organizational capacity assessments, helping organizations like ours pinpoint areas of growth, uncover opportunities, and recognize risks and threats. These assessments provide a clear picture of the organization’s health and readiness for future investments, ensuring sustainable operations.
Following the assessment, our team is now equipped with valuable insights and is ready to take action through the development of a comprehensive organizational improvement plan.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Woven Foundation for making this workshop possible. Their introduction of the IDF tool to their partner organizations, including Hope of Family, has given us a vital resource to ensure our continued growth and effectiveness in our mission.
Stay tuned as we implement these learnings to create even greater impact in the communities we serve!
