A few weeks ago, Hope of Family had the privilege of participating in the Segal Family Foundation’s End-of-Year Cocktail event at the Kigali Convention Center. This special gathering brought together Segal Family Foundation partners for an evening of insightful dialogue and meaningful connections.

The highlight of the evening was a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring inspiring leaders: Isabelle Kamariza of Solid'Africa, Uwamahoro Delphine of Our Sisters Opportunity (OSO), and Satir Omar Bahati of Uwezo Youth Empowerment. The panel delved into critical topics, including:

• Maintaining organizational identity and vision amid potential mission drift caused by donations

Their insights resonated deeply, offering valuable strategies and inspiration that align with our mission of reducing extreme family poverty through strong and efficient children’s education.

The event also provided an excellent platform for casual networking among partners, fostering collaboration and shared learning.
