Hope of Family has also made significant strides in improving the health and well-being of the families we serve. Since 2018, thousands of community members are now having access affordable healthcare through Community-Based Health Insurance (CBHI), helping to reduce the financial burden of medical expenses. This intervention has led to increased access to preventive care, maternal health services, and treatment for chronic conditions, improving the overall health of the community.
Through our Family Livelihood Programs, we have also built hundreds of kitchen gardens, promoting better nutrition and self-sufficiency. This initiative has been complemented by training in financial literacy and the creation of more than 50 savings and credit groups, enabling families to have access to money to generate income and improve their living conditions. As a result, 75% of participants have launched small businesses, contributing to the economic vitality of the community.
